Privacy policy
Usulzen is an app that shows, plays and teaches the usuls (rhythmic cycles) of Turkish music. This page explains what the app does with personal data. In short: we do not collect any data.
Data we collect
Usulzen does not collect, store or share any personal data. You do not need an account. The app contains no advertising, analytics, tracking or third-party tracking tools.
Internet connection
The app does not connect to the internet. All usul data and sound samples are built into the app; it needs no connection to work.
Information kept on your device
So that you can pick up where you left off, the app keeps a few settings on your device only:
- the selected usul or lesson, tempo, beat unit and view,
- your instrument, theme, language, vibration and keep-screen-on preferences,
- Practice settings and the audio latency you measured.
This information never leaves your device and does not reach us or anyone else. It is deleted when you delete the app.
Permissions
Usulzen does not ask for permissions such as microphone, camera, location, contacts or photos. To keep playing in the background and on the lock screen it uses the operating system's media session; the lock screen shows only the name and tempo of the usul being played.
Children
Because the app collects no data, it collects no data from children either. It is suitable for users of all ages.
Changes
If this policy changes, the current version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
